After completing her vocational training as industrial clerk, Iris studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. Alongside her legal studies, she worked for several years in the Human Resources department of a Bertelsmann subsidiary in Munich. During her legal clerkship in Augsburg she completed an additional training as business mediator (CVM) and subsequently worked in the Munich office of a supraregionally acting insolvency administrator before joining Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in October 2007.

Iris advises companies on questions concerning individual and collective labour law and social security matters. She is specialised on all questions concerning right of termination, contract design and the arrangement of working time systems.
