Give & Gain Day 2009 - Gutes Essen in schlechten Zeiten
Good Food in Bad Times: Munich top lawyers cook for kids of the Hasenbergl District
On Friday, 05 June 2009, the lawyers of the Munich-based office Heisse Kursawe Eversheds will rattle the pots and pans for the children of the youth centre Neuland in the Hasenbergl district.
Each Friday the youth centre Neuland offers a cookery course for youngsters. They can learn how to prepare a healthy and tasty meal for little money.
The lawyers from the Munich-based office who are usually advising executives and top-managers will now help them. They will buy all ingredients and create a festive dinner for the kids who added to their list of wishes seafood, steaks and a tasty dessert. Things which they usually only get very rarely.
The lawyers do not only want to spend a beautiful day with the kids but also want to show them how to successfully start their professional career, tell them from their experiences, how they managed things, what motivated them and which obstacles they had to overcome.
Of course, the lawyer's office will bear the costs for this day and the cookery course which the youth centre Neuland normally pays out of donations.
The social commitment by the Munich-based lawyer's office results from the so-called international Give & Gain Day which was set up by the international Eversheds office. A total of 29 countries in the whole world will organise non-profit projects for kids and teenagers.
